Johann was born in Trautzberg in 1772. He married Margaretha Becker, who was born in Oberofflingen on March 27, 1798. They had a son, Hubert, who was born in Trautzberg on August 30, 1835.

Johann died in Trautzberg on February 2, 1846.
Margaretha died in Trautzberg on February 14, 1872.
