Betty and Bob's 50th Wedding Anniversary

	Upon graduating, he did what every young man was doing at that time: he joined the Air Force. He was sent to Texas for basic training and later had the happy duty of processing paperwork for airmen returning from the war in Europe.
	In 1948, Bob worked as a summer itinerrent wheat farmer. He also spent some time in St Louis.
